Data Requests

Last updated: September 2026

BattleVive is a small, volunteer-run project, so every request below is handled directly by a person on our team through Discord — there’s no automated self-service form yet. Message us on the ReVIVE Discord and tell us which of the below you’d like — we aim to respond within 30 days, in line with GDPR’s standard timeframe.

Correct your name

Change your display name yourself from your profile (once every 30 days) — no request needed for this one.

Access & export

Ask us on Discord for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, and we’ll send you an export of it.

Delete your account

Request deletion via Discord; a BattleVive administrator will permanently remove your account. This deletes your personal profile rows (your name, avatar link, and any personally-identifying fields) and detaches your identity from shared game records, such as match history and the leaderboard, rather than deleting those shared records outright — other players’ own match history and season results depend on the same rows. Exactly how a removed player’s past matches are displayed afterward is something we’re still refining; for now, expect your name to be detached/anonymized on those records rather than the records themselves disappearing.

Restrict or object to processing

If you’d rather we stop a specific use of your data without deleting your account entirely, tell us on Discord what you’d like restricted and we’ll do what’s practicable given the service still needs certain data (like your Discord ID) to function.
