Cookies Policy

Last updated: September 2026

BattleVive uses only strictly necessary storage — nothing for advertising, analytics, or cross-site tracking. Under the EU ePrivacy rules, strictly-necessary storage is exempt from requiring your prior consent, but we still tell you exactly what it is and why below.

What we store, and why

Authentication session — a cookie/session token set by our backend (Supabase) once you sign in with Discord, so you stay logged in as you move around the site. Without it, you’d be asked to sign in again on every page.

Local preferences — small values saved in your browser’s local storage (not a cookie sent to our server): sound on/off, your chosen font, which notifications you’ve already read, and your cookie choice itself (see below). These stay on your device.

What we don't use

No advertising cookies, no analytics trackers (Google Analytics or similar), no third-party marketing pixels, and no cross-site tracking of any kind. If that ever changes, we’ll ask for your consent first through the cookie banner and only set such cookies if you accept.

Your choice

The cookie banner shown on your first visit lets you accept all storage or restrict it to what’s strictly necessary to keep the site working; both options are equally easy to pick. You can review or change that choice at any time on the Privacy Settings tab.
